Wreaths, lanterns and dried oranges are some of the most popular Christmas interior trends on Pinterest, new research shows.
Interior experts at WeThrift used Pinterest data over the past 12 months to see what trends we’ll all be adding to our inspiration boards ahead of the holiday season – and we’re not surprised with the results.
Storefronts took the top spot, with a huge 4,000% search increase. Whether you prefer to keep things classic or want to impress your neighbors with a dazzling display, Christmas window decorations are perfect to make your home feel festive from the inside out.
Christmas wreaths (3,900%) and bohemian Christmas (3,233%) ranked second and third, respectively, with households planning to add the finishing touches to their space. Elsewhere, other interior trends include traditional nutcrackers (651%), dried orange decorations (366%), and gonks (300%) – a Scandinavian take on Santa Claus that has taken hold. magnitude in recent months.
