Okay, everyone. I don’t usually start a review that way, but I just have to say it. The Shark Wandvac self-emptying system is this. It is elegant, fashionable, light and empties. yes we said empties.
But follow me to my studio in New York to learn more about this deep-cleaning cordless vacuum that cleans itself. This way, you can eliminate the annoying dirty work that comes with emptying your regular vacuum and learn everything you need to know before you make the purchase.
What is the Shark Wandvac Self-Draining System?
If you’re wondering, “What the hell is that?” you’re not alone.
The Shark Wandvac Self-Draining System is the brand’s first cordless stick vacuum with self-draining technology. It’s great for small spaces like mine (like apartments, bathrooms, or dorms), but it’s powerful enough to tackle messes that happen throughout the day all over your home.
Not only is it designed to clean your entire home, but it’s also sleek enough to leave where it’s most convenient to grab it when you need it. We’d go so far as to say that with its sleek color, design, and small footprint, you might even want to show it off.
Shark Wandvac self-draining system, $330
Just because it’s trendy and stylish doesn’t mean it’s not super powerful. In fact, the Shark vacuum thoroughly cleans hard floors and carpets to remove troublesome dust and dirt. Best of all, it comes with additional tools to suck up pet hair and get into hard-to-reach spaces.
The best part is the self-draining system, though.
After using the chic vacuum cleaner, simply return it to the self-emptying system. In seconds, the vacuum removes accumulated debris while HEPA filtration and a full anti-allergen seal trap 99.97% of dust and allergens inside the base. When finished, the vacuum will begin charging for your next cleaning.
It sounded too good to be true, so you know I had to try it for myself.
Shark Wandvac Self-Emptying System Review
Upon delivery, I was worried the vacuum would take a while to set up, but I was proven wrong.
The easy-to-use vacuum cleaner is made up of a few parts and took about 10 minutes to assemble. Not to mention, the lightweight design weighs around 5 pounds, which makes assembly fairly easy. Once done, I took a step back and admired the beautiful white and rose gold design, and I have to say, it is truly stunning. But how did the vacuum work? That was my next question.
I loaded up the vacuum and got to work.
First, I tried the Shark vacuum on my carpets, and the man made it easy to pick up loose items. It was powerful and I was blown away. What really stood out in the design was the unique PowerFins brushroll. Unlike typical vacuum heads that have traditional brush rolls, the PowerFin is actually a series of thin, flexible silicone fins designed to leave no dust or pet hair behind.
Then I took the vacuum to my bathroom floor and kicked it up a notch seeing how compact it was. To my surprise, it flushed loose kitty litter and even fit into the small gap between my toilet and the wall.
But what about the extra tools that come with the Wandvac? Well, these are great too.
I used the pet multi tool to clean my couch of loose cat fur and the crevice duster tool to clean dust from hard to reach places.
Aside from my super clean studio, the star of the show was the self-draining base.
I rolled my vacuum up to the cute base and saw all the gunk the shark had picked up disappear. There were no clouds of dust and no messy work needed.
The final verdict
The Shark Wandvac Self-Draining System really is as great as it sounds. It’s light and powerful, easily movable, has a self-cleaning brush roll, and reduces exposure to dust from vacuums up to 100 times compared to traditional vacuum cleaners.
Plus, the vacuum comes with all the tools needed to clean up pet hair and get into tight spaces, which I’m obsessed with.
The Shark vacuum is also more than easy to load, so it’s always ready to grab and go when I need it, making it ideal for quickly tackling messes that arise throughout the day. .
Not to mention, it’s less than half the price of other self-emptying cordless baton competitors, so who wouldn’t want to save some money?
The main thing is to grab this Shark Wandvac ASAP!
