A home stylist showed off the incredible Hamptons-inspired front door makeover she and her hubby completed.

Emma and her husband, from Melbourne, completely revamped the exterior with a coat of gray paint on the driveway and white paneling on the walls.

The stylist then sanded down her vintage door that was once used inside an old state library and prepped it for painting.

The couple were hesitant about what color to paint for the door, but Emma opted for a blue tint and added gold handles as a centerpiece.

‘I chose this blue color, called ‘Ol Blue Eyes’ by Paint Tint…I wanted to bring [the door]bring it back to life and bring it out,” she wrote.

How the couple transformed their front door:

  1. Painted the concrete driveway with a new coat of gray paint and added white panels to the exterior walls.
  2. Removed worn Venetian blinds behind glass to open up space near front door.
  3. Sanded down the vintage door that was once used inside a state library and prepped it for painting.
  4. Painted the front doors in a blue tint and added gold handles as a centerpiece.
  5. Placed two plant urns on either side of the front door and added a Hamptons-style doormat.

For the final exterior touch, the couple added two plant urns on either side of the front door of first settler and a Hamptons-style doormat.

For the entry hall, the couple reupholstered vintage chairs to go with the luxurious theme and other gold accents throughout the house.

Emma shared her stunning renovation results on a popular Facebook page and received hundreds of responses from impressed users.
