The University of Alabama campus on the Birmingham campus is undergoing a transformation – roughly $ 335 million.
Construction is underway on several major projects this summer to construct new buildings or renovate old buildings around campus, from a basketball practice center to a college hall.
One of the biggest projects underway is the new scientific and technical complex of UAB, which will become the headquarters of the basic sciences.
âThis building represents a significant investment not only in the future of our students and the future of this university, but in the future research that will change the world that will define our technology, our communication platforms, our sources of power and research. ‘water, geopolitics, healthcare, the global economy, and the sustainability of our planet,’ according to a statement posted on the UAB College of Arts and Sciences website.
